Cozumel Mexico.

With a Mexican heart and a Caribbean soul, Cozumel is a paradise where tradition, flavor and joy come together. You will always find a friendly face and a warm welcome to make your stay an unforgettable one. Famous all over the world for its coral reefs, there are plenty of water sports such as diving, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, kayaking and more. Cozumel’s mostly undeveloped territory at the center of the island is covered by jungle and swampy lagoons, which are home to tiny mammals and endemic birds that have never left the island. Mayan Culture.

Chiche Itza.

The grandiose capital of the Itzaes impresses everyone for its size and grace. The site reveals much of the fascinating history of the Mayas, such as the Cenote of Sacrifices into which the victims were thrown; the immense Ball Game (the largest in Mesoamerica).

Coba.

Enveloped in the deep green of the tropical jungle, this ancient Mayan city rises up among five peaceful lagoons. In its era of splendour it extended over 70 square Km (43.5 square miles).

Ek Balam. The most recent great find, it is barely starting to reveal its secrets. Its principal buildings, temples and palaces are located inside a walled area; the three walls are evidence of protection of this sacred centre and seat of power.

Kohunlich. (384 km south of Cancun) Just 64 km west from the capital city of Chetumal ( near Quintana Roo southern border with Belize), is another site worth visiting.

Tulum. On the edge of a cliff facing the vast turquoise ocean, the walled city of Tulum looks out toward the horizon. Its prehispanic name was Zama, ?sunrise? in Maya. The Castle as well as the Temple are decorated with figures of the god descending, a widely recurring deity in Tulum. Welcome Archaeological zones.
